Organic Club Chair in Hemp
Our environmentally friendly, heirloom quality, contemporary, sophisticated Organic Hemp Club Chairs, Love seats, Sofas and Ottomans are handcrafted one at a time by our expert craftsmen with decades of experience making individual and unique designer quality furniture. Our frames are made from quality sustainably grown hardwoods from well managed American forests which are FSC certified (Forest Stewardship Council) and/or our new Urban Forest woods from the Chicago land area which needed to be removed from public or private property and ordinarily destined to be chopped into worthless mulch but now saved for a higher use, sawed to size, kiln dried, and crafted into your furniture. We use steel screws and fasteners as well as non-toxic natural based glues. Our Bean Organic line cushioning is made from 100% natural latex foam rubber which provides superior comfort and support and is the most long lasting and least toxic of any cushioning material. Our natural latex foam rubber is an environmentally friendly renewable resource that is naturally harvested from rain forest rubber trees, actually the sap collected from the "Hevea BrasiliensesColors Fabric" and will outlast all toxic synthetic petroleum based urethane foams, often 20 years or more at which time the cushions and batting can the be safely biodegraded in a landfill. We use a natural hemp or jute covering for our steel base springs and tight back springs, then a layer of natural latex foam rubber and then layers of pure organic cotton and natural wool batting, then secure everything with a barrier wrap of organic cotton sheeting. Finally the piece is tightly upholstered with our special heavy Hemp fabrics, Eco-option designer fabrics or customer provided fabric then precise natural core welting accents the piece. Hardwood maple feet are available in four finishes: Natural, Mahogany, Walnut and Ebony. Organic hemp fabric is available in four colors: Natural, Espresso, Chocolate and Black. Hemp Club Chairs dimensions are 35" x 34" x 32", and comes with one cushion. Ottoman dimensions are 24" x 18" x 18"
